Every month we highlight a teacher or learner who gets a gold star for being a hero in their school, community or home. This month it’s Mrs Roe of Bedfordview Primary in Gauteng.

Heroic act: Great teacher

Mrs Roe exemplifies the definition of “best teacher”; she goes the extra mile for her students and loves what she does.

Working with her on Pick n Pay School Club has been a blessing. She is very passionate about art and always makes sure the learners enter the Pick n Pay School Club art competitions and hand in their best work. She’s always willing to assist us with a happy heart. We love Mrs Roe!
