R100k Scooler Clash Competition
Calling all teachers, parents and learners to get involved in the Scooler - School Entrepreneur movement.
The School Entrepreneur Movement aims to create an entrepreneurial spirit in our schools so that learners can shape their own future by exploring an alternative to their post-school life, namely, entrepreneurship.
The mammoth unemployment rate in South Africa emphasises the serious need to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit in our schools. Scooler challenges government and businesses to stop talking about unemployment and commit to creating an entrepreneurial spirit in our schools.
To create awareness, Scooler has launched the R100k Scooler Clash Competition where learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12 can enter their existing money-making venture, hobby or business and stand a chance of winning R100 000.
Four runner-ups will each receive R10 000 worth of coaching for their businesses.
Learners in Grade 8 to 12 can enter here: http://bit.ly/eClassroomClash
