Bake your way to New York!

We’re on the hunt for South Africa’s No.1 cake! Do you have the winning recipe? Your culinary creation could take you to New York City on an all-expenses-paid trip worth R150 000.

HOW TO ENTER

Whether it’s sweet or savoury, baked or set, a family favourite or a delicious new creation, your recipe could be your ticket to New York City. Simply submit a picture of your cake (clearly showing the LANCEWOOD product used to create it), along with the recipe, and you’re set! Entries close at midnight on 3 June 2018.

Aprons on, whisks out – it’s go time.

HOW IT WORKS

For four weeks, you’ll have the chance to showcase your cake-making skills and submit your best creation via our website. Then, it’s over to the public, who will have two weeks to cast their votes for their favourite cakes. Make them colourful, make them spectacular, and make sure to get out there and tell all your friends to vote!

The three cakes with the highest votes will then enter the final round of the competition. Finalists will have to make their cakes live on The Expresso Show to impress our panel of celebrity judges – Zola Nene, J’Something and Lorna Maseko – if they want to cake it all the way.

Each of our finalists will also win a brand new KitchenAid Artisan Mixer valued at R10,000. In addition, two lucky consumers who cast their votes for their favourite cakes will also be entered into a draw to win a KitchenAid Mixer.
